Step into Miyeoji Baengdui, a mystical space between life and death, drawn from Jeju’s mythical tales—a place that exists yet does not. Ahead of its official launch, we are recruiting beta testers to gather valuable feedback and make improvements. Join us in shaping this unique online interactive performance!

MiyeojiBaengdui is an online performance art project supported by the Arts Council Korea (ARKO) as a performance creation entity, developed for three years since 2022 under the mid- to long-term creative support program.

In the realm between life and death, there's a mystical place, MiyeojiBaengdui, from Jeju mythology, existing yet non-existent. We embark on a magical journey where the protagonist 'Bonju' connects with the virtual world, the mythic realm, gods, humans, and the heavens and earth.
To gather various opinions and continuously improve, we are conducting a beta tester recruitment event.
This beta test is a closed test conducted in November, prior to the official open.
In June, the initial test on the first chapter 'MiyeojiBaengdui' was carried out, and the pre-registration for the second chapter 'Song of Gime' is open from July 12th (Fri) to July 24th (Wed).
The first chapter MiyeojiBaengdui and the second chapter Song of Gime serve as the introduction to the entire performance. As the 18,000 gods begin to leave Jeju due to continued destruction and neglecting the heavens, life increasingly withers, and the intermediary world MiyeojiBaengdui becomes desolate. The introduction marks the beginning of the journey to bring back the gods, a crucial chapter that opens the story.
