Welcome to Miyeoji Baengdui.
Miyeoji Baengdui is a metaverse-based Korean traditional art performance that has been in development since 2022 through the Korean Arts Council’s Performing Arts Creation Project (formerly known as the Performing Arts Long-term Creative Support). Through the Miyeoji Baengdui project, we sought to expand the realm of creation by bringing the world of Jeju mythology into the virtual world.
“As you step onto the stage, an endless expanse of sand stretches before you. Along the path, Jeju’s gods offer choices: the Life Flower or the Laughing Flower, red or blue. There is no right answer here, but each choice reveals a different path ahead.”
To experience Miyeoji Baengdui, you enter the stage through your PC and explore the virtual space. The journey unfolds differently

Please Read Before Entering the Performance!
Miyeoji Baengdui is a performance you experience by downloading a program to your PC and entering the virtual world.
★ Miyeoji Baengdui operates on Windows OS.
Performances compatible with Mac OS will be developed in the future.
★ For an optimal experience, a GeForce RTX 3060 or higher graphics card is recommended.
If your external graphics card is below 3060, please set the resolution to ‘Low’ in the settings.
★ An English version of Miyeoji Baengdui will be released soon.
How to Run Miyeoji Baengdui
1. Download and Extract the Files
After downloading, extract the files. Please ensure you have at least 12GB of free storage space available.
2. Open the Main Folder
Locate and open the folder named ‘00_Miyeoji_Baengdui_Final’.
3. Navigate to the Start Folder
Inside, open the folder labeled ‘01_Start’.
4. Run the Program
Double-click the file Miyeoji_Baengdui_start.exe to launch the program.
5. Participate in the Survey
After enjoying the performance, please share your feedback by participating in the survey.

• Alternatively, you can access the survey via the ‘02_Please_Participate_in_the_Survey’ file in the downloaded folder.
