We will hold an XR showcase and share the production process of the online performance <Miyeo Ji Bangdui> in Seoul.
Online Performance <Miyeoji Baengdui> Production Process Sharing and XR Showcase
Miyeoji Baengdui is an online performance prepared since 2022 through the Performing Arts Creation Project by the Arts Council Korea (AC Creation Support Project). Originating from a mystical story passed down in Jeju, Miyeoji Baengdui invites audiences to become 'Bonju' and explore a virtual world where the realms of gods and humans connect, in an existing yet non-existent space known as 'Miyeoji Baengdui'.
This showcase reveals the production process of <Miyeoji Baengdui> and presents a performance utilizing XR technology. Through this showcase, we aim to explore new possibilities for performances in virtual worlds. We hope it will be a meaningful occasion to exchange ideas with those interested in the fusion of Jeju's mythology, traditional arts, and technology.
